eir Sport to irlandzka grupa telewizyjna, działająca pod tą właśnie nazwą po rebrandingu marki Setanta Sports w 2016 roku. Producent programów sportowych ogłosił listę 23 nominowanych tytułów w eir Sport Book of the Year, czyli tamtejszym Plebiscycie na najlepszą literaturę sportową.
Poprzedni zwycięzcy tego konkursu to „The Choice” Philly`ego McMahona (2017), „What Do You Think of That” Kierana Donaghy`ego (2016) i „Dub Sub Confidential” Johna Leonarda (2015). Autor zwycięskiej książki otrzymuje dedykowanoe trofeum, nagrodę pieniężną w wysokości 1500 euro oraz reklamę telewizyjną publikacji o wartości 10 000 euro w eir Sport.
Szeroka lista nominowanych tytułów zostanie skrócona pod koniec listopada. Ogłoszenie triumfatora odbędzie się 10 grudnia w Dublinie.
